I just looked up Waldo and he hasn't been on the forum since March...

Other helpful posters haven't been on here since 2017...

So I take it he is gone; and this forum is dead...?

Hi  Polo.

You're probably correct!  I've participated in 2 of these types of forums so far in recent decades and once the model is totally dropped - so does the participation in these forums.

It was neat being a part of the first Lincoln LS forums and it was neat to share ideas and such on those forums, but they quickly died down after the LS was discontinued.  I still have my 2000 LS.

My winter beater - a 2009 MKS has been a great car too.  This forum helped get me through a few issues.  It is a shame it too seems to have 'discontinued' with the MKS.

I come back periodically to see if anyone has posted.  I have to admit that I miss reading the stories and questions.  By the way, the Continental Forum is just as dry.

I too stop by every couple of months just to see if anything is going on........This forum was Like a ghost town compared to other forums, even in the "heyday" of the MKS.

Long live the MKS !

I unretired myself from early retirement and am now a swap driver for our dealership.  True, the "S" is discontinued, but when I talk to the service tech's about looking for a new Continental for the wife in a few years, they tell me, don't be crazy, keep the MKS, much better than the new Continental.  The wife's MKS is a '15 with only 25K on it, and looks like new.

Wow. To hear that from technicians is almost a testament.
