Wow just looked up my 2012 mks and what a load of BS. I drove many cars from all countries and it was a toss up between SHO and MKS. Its now on the list of cars not to buy because of poor performance, Yeah right mine is faster than 95% of the cars on the road when it was stock. Poor styling, poor reliability and resale value. To make this short, I will never buy a car based on this company. BIASED    (Someone has it out for Lincoln)

Wow...the ratings looked very good to me.  Four out of 5 stars for overall quality is much better than most.   As for the 2 stars for performance, keep in mind they were taking in consideration more than just straight line performance of the ecoboost MKS.     The MKS was not a great handling car and the brakes on the 2010-2012 models were very poor.

I only took a quick look at it, but it doesn't say anywhere (that I saw)  that they are evaluating performance based on the model you have, which is the ecoboost. With a non ecoboost, I'm not sure that they are too far off. People buying the non-ecoboost are not buying it for performance or acceleration.

Bruce, that was for initial quality but over all it was 2 stars. Even the 3.7 has some good power. I still feel it was biased looking at japanese cars and their scores.
