I keep noticing that late model MKS ecoboost cars are generally selling for less than their SHO counterparts. I find this strange. I only look at vehicles in my home state of Indiana, so I don't know if this is a national thing or not. Has anyone else noticed this?

I have sort of been playing around with the idea of picking up a used SHO or MKS just to mod and use for drag racing.   They are somewhat scarce in my area but I find the prices to be similar.  For some reason, most of the used MKSs I see have a lot more miles on them than the SHOs.  I would assume the the MKSs have been owned by older clientele and maybe have more longer trips.  I would also expect the MKSs to have been driven a bit more conservatively.  Only an unruly hooligan would mod or race an MKS.   :shift:

Same is true of MKT vs Flex or Explorer.  Pretty much any Lincoln has terrible residual value right now.  Makes them a great used car bargain!

Explorer is the popular model and sells very well.... You'd think they'd fare a bit better than the other D4 platform mates...I'm just waiting on my Certified Pre Owned Continental Black Label Edition. He he heeee Give me 2 or 3  years on the used market. My MKS will do just fine for now.

I'm thinking about buying another one myself. I'm addicted. lol I just got a big  promotion after many years of slaving away and proving myself and I think I can swing it now. I've got my 2010 MKS ecoboost, 05 civic beater, and I'm wanting an SHO eco..Year is undecided atm.
