have a 2010 MKS Eco with 120,000 mi.  same turbos, still runs like a scalded dog. but these brakes are crap, and i've even upgraded the pads and rotors with the conclusion that more surface is needed. does the SHO have better brakes and can they be installed on a MKS?

You could do the same thing as this guy did on the Flex - upgrading to the 2013 rotors:

The MKS, SHO, Flex, MKT, Explorer all use the same brakes and all switched over to the larger rotors around 2013.

Here's what I bought, but yet to install.

$464 out the door, not too shabby. This is THE best deal on the Internet for EBC brakes for the MKS. Hope it helps.
