I just have the tune.  I love going to the track but I have no plans for future mods.   I don't remove the spare tire or mess around with tire pressures, either.   Next year, I might get a little more aggressive and experiment with adding some E85 but that is about as far as I will go.  My closest tracks are 2 hours away so I always want to make sure I can drive the car home and not have to flatbed it due to some catastrophic failure!    I probably do not launch it as hard as some of the guys either for fear of breaking something.   :drop:

Is that a 12.60? For some reason hard for me to read. If so, nice 1/4!!!

No, the number on the screen was the reaction time - how long it takes from the time the green light goes on until the car reaches the first timing light.  I am not sure why the decimal is in the wrong place but the reaction time on this run was .260.  This video is a couple of months old but I think the ET was 12.77 on this run.

OH, I see........  12.77 is better than my best of 12.80 (with the Aeroforce).

Before next spring and the tracks open, I will change the fluid in my PTU, transmission and rear differential.  I will also install a cooler thermostat.  I plan to reach out to Livernois to see if they would be willing to create a "race only" tune for me.  I have 102 octane fuel available and I think some tweaking could be done to take advantage of that.

It's pretty amazing that the MKS can run a 12 in the quarter mile! :shift:

The cool thing is that they are NOT expected to be very fast.  When a Mustang GT or Camaro Z28 pulls up to the starting line, the spectators know what they are and that they will be pretty quick.  When I pull up to the line with the MKS, most people don't even know what it is!    They are usually shocked to see what it will do.   I have been asked if it had a 460 engine in it.   Another guy once suggested that I must have put that "ecoboost" badge on there "just to fool people because there is no way that thing has the economy motor in it."

Took the MKS to the Brainerd drag strip this week.  There were a couple of SHOs there - guys that I have "met" on various Internet forums.  One of them had exactly the same tune that I have but he also has a Corsa exhaust system.  The other person has a very aggressive tune done by a different tuner and is also running Meth.  I was very pleased to have quicker times that either of them!   Here are a couple of videos...neither of very high quality.  The first is against the SHO with Meth.  I beat him with a 12.8 to his 13.1.  The second is against a vintage Corvette with a new GM crate engine under the hood.  We were even all the way until the end where he finally beat me.
